TAS/13 is a software product of both RAMAPO and the PROGRESS SOFTWARE CORPORATION. RAMAPO has written TAS/13 in "high level" software that is visible to the user. PROGRESS provides the "low level" control and database management (RDBMS) software.

Although PROGRESS is unknown by the average computer user, it is one of the larger RDBMS providers. It is a public corporation that had revenues last year of over 170 million dollars. There are 1,100 Progress employees and 2,300 application partners (including RAMAPO) supporting 400,000 licenses of PROGRESS software worldwide.

TAS/13 brings the most current computer technology to the Chapter 13 Trustee's office. It provides all the features the Trustee needs to manage his/her caseload in a cost-effective way and to meet requirements for reporting and data security. TAS/13 runs on all the major operating systems, including UNIX, Windows XP and even older legacy DOS networks. It is scaleable in that, as the Trustee's caseload grows, there is no need to change software. RAMAPO supports single user PC systems as well as larger multi-user UNIX applications. Current versions of TAS/13 can exceed the demands of the largest Trustee offices. It will support a 2,000-user system with very large (Gigabyte) databases.
